About Me

Art has my heart.

Located north of Newcastle in a tranquil bush setting, abundant with Australian wildlife, you will find me in my happy place - my studio.

My paintings flow through an intuitive process, led by emotions and imagination. I am deeply fascinated by the ocean and the abundant colourful marine life it is home to, which is where a lot of my inspiration comes from. As a nature lover I also draw inspiration from all that the natural world has to offer, from peeling bark on a tree to the stars in the vast night sky - inspiration is everywhere.

I am in awe of aerial photography and the unique perspective it provides of the patterns and colours of the natural world.

My process starts with an idea or emotion that I want to convey through my art. I then experiment with colours, textures and shapes until I am satisfied with the composition. I incorporate layers of colour to create a sense of depth and movement in my artwork. One of my favourite techniques is the use of fluid paints and inks, which allows me to create organic shapes that resemble the swirling patterns found in nature. I also love to use metallics to add a touch of glamour and luxury to my pieces.

As an artist, I aim to create artwork that is not only beautiful but also therapeutic. My art is meant to evoke feelings of serenity, calmness and joy to those who view it. I am constantly exploring new techniques and styles to push myself as an artist and create work that is both original and meaningful.

When I am not in my studio I am creating beautiful memories with my 2 gorgeous sons.
